Five starters and two remain! To the Under 11 White, Under 13 Red and Under 15 Red, gallant efforts in a somewhat roller coaster year. At the end of the day you were able to spend one more week together, bringing closer in time and team to Season 2015. Enjoy the break you deserve it!
Preliminary Final – This Sunday!
It was extremely pleasing to see all the Sharks out on Sunday, with the red, black and white dominating the landscape. I know that it made our players feel a little bit special having that extra support – win or lose – and I just hope it continues into this week. So, don’t pack up the gear just yet, here are Sunday’s game details:

Park Orchards Football Club Finals – This Weekend!
This weekend marks the start of our Senior Club’s Finals campaign with all three sides – Senior, Reserves and Under 19’s – making it through.

Presentation Day – Sunday 14 September 2014!
The Sharks will again hold a Presentation Day at Domeney Reserve. Unlike last season, the day will be divided into three two sessions with the Annual General Meeting occurring at the midway point. Volunteers will be putting on a bbq, lollies and drinks for those attending. Timings:
12.00 – 1.00 Tackers
1.30 – 3.00 Under 10 to 12
3.30 – 5.00 Annual General Meeting, followed by the Under 13 to Colts
Annual General Meeting – Sunday 14 September 2014!
The Park Orchards North Ringwood Annual General Meeting will be held at on Sunday 14 September 2014 at Domeney Reserve, coinciding with the interval of our Presentation Day, commencing 3.30 p.m.
This meeting will discuss such items the years football and financial performance, and it is hoped that we will also identify and vote in new committee members. Any member wishing to agenda items for discussion must do so 14 days prior to the meeting.
Each member eligible to vote is entitled to appoint another member who is eligible to vote as a proxy by notice given to the Secretary no later than 48 hours before the time of the meeting. Proxy forms are available on request via the club President of Secretary.
Team Break Ups!
For those of you who like to plan ahead and you are looking to hold an end of year function for your team at Domeney Reserve, can I ask that you raise this through our Secretary Ondine Lowther for coordination?
We Need You On Committee!
I recently sent out a letter to all families at the Sharks Junior Football Club seeking your support on Committee. The offers of help have been overwhelming with several people putting up their hands to help out in Season 2015. We can always do with more, so please, if you have something to offer in 2015 can you PLEASE give me a call.
