President Talk: Round 3, 2022

After much anticipation, Season 2022 is off to a flying start.

Over the last few Sundays, teams have been scattered across the region as the sound of football echoes across the suburbs. Football is back!

Of course, a season doesn’t just happen overnight. I would like to kick off the season with a note of gratitude.

A huge thanks goes to the incredible Sharks committee who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the past couple of months to get the season up and running.

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing with many curve balls thrown at us along the way. None of us are perfect but we all share the same passion of community and are focussed on our players and families reconnecting and having fun.

Thank you also to the coaches who have dedicated hours of their weeks to ensure that each child get to enjoy the thrills of football once more. We appreciate the time and effort that you put in each week on top of your daily lives to ensure that our kids get the best footy experience as possible.

Finally, I would also like to thank all the parents and supporters who give their time each week to help with training and on game day to help things run smoothly.

We honestly couldn’t run a season without you all so THANK YOU.

It is this level of commitment and support from volunteers that ensures our club continues to thrive.

Let’s make season 2022 the best yet.

Go Sharks!!

Thanks a million
