The mini break Queen’s Birthday long weekend was a great chance for many parents to recharge their batteries. The weather has certainly turned to perfect football conditions. Great to see how well the grounds are holding up.
A quick note on the Sharkwiz Trivia Night. Well done to everyone, we raised just over $15,000; a great effort. I think it’s a record amount for the night. Thank you.
Thank you to our weekly helpers who assist in roles that help our kids play football. You are all very much appreciated by not only the committee but your Team Managers and Coaches, keep up the great efforts. Also, all parents must be congratulated on how they are conducting themselves each week. The show of respect and conduct to umpires and our oppositions has been noted by the league.

In advance, thank you everybody for your kind understanding that this year we must ask for a contribution towards costs. The photos will need a $5.00 contribution from each player towards defraying what it costs the Club. This year the actual cost is nearly 3 times this amount. Your Team Managers will start collecting from next week.
Social Night
This night is put on for you the parents to enjoy, mingle and let your hair down and enjoy the evening. Saturday 22nd July at Rosebank, 150 Warrandyte Road Ringwood North at 7:30pm.

Burger Night
Sunday was our second burger night for the year. The Colts, U8s and U9s were fantastic hosting the evening. The boys were great in putting on a clinic of their skills for us all. Presentation medals were handed out to all players who have achieved the 50 or 100 game milestones this year. Despite technical troubles (aka raffle tickets being ready) the night was a great success.

We need you on Committee
At the end of Season 2017 a number of positions will become vacant on Committee. These roles are a mixture of Executive, Non-Executive and Off-Committee roles and they include; Director of Football, Coaches Coordinator, Events Manager, Sponsorship Coordinator, Registrar, Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, and understudy for Director of Team Managers. Whilst these opportunities are open to all Parents, I’d love to see the next age bracket, our Parents of U11s, U12s & U13s take the opportunity of being able to grow into the roles. We are NOW seeking your support so if you’re in a position to assist, please contact me.
Summary
Round 9 on Sunday 25th June, then Round 10 on Sunday 2nd July with the School Holidays off on Sunday 9th July.
