It was pleasing to hear of some great team results from the weekend. There were a few big wins as some teams start to tune up for finals. Conversely, there were a few teams who tried their absolute hardest yet fell short of kicking a winning score. No matter the results, you’re all champions to the parents, committee and myself because you go out every week and try your best. Only three more rounds until the end of season 2019.  Wow!  Our 50th year has moved at a frenetic pace.  Due to the wonderful folks on committee and the parent helpers as Coaches, Team Managers etc… a huge load is shared between many people each week. Continue Reading

By golly, it was certainly a cold day last Sunday. What a “Welcome Back” to footy after a few weeks off. The temp on the dashboard never got above 8◦C. Hard to believe only 24hrs beforehand my family were in the Middle East where it was 45°C. Continue Reading
