Anzac Day 2020

To our Sharks community:

We call on all Sharks members and the local community to support our ANZAC Day ribbon event at Domeney initiative.

This Saturday we cannot show our gratitude to the Anzacs as we normally would with a pre game Anzac ceremony before each game.

We ask that Sharks players, members and supporters show your support for the Anzacs by undertaking your permitted exercise any day from Wednesday 22nd April onwards and go to Domeney (you can drive but be dressed to walk/run) this week.

Please take some white &/or red ribbon and tie it on top of the black boundary fence at Domeney, approx 1-2m apart.

We will start from the flagpole which will have the Australian flag flying between the cricket nets and goals at Knees Road end of Domeney Reserve and work our way around the boundary fence.

This is one of the ways we’ll show the Park Orchards community that the Sharks are a vibrant club that, although in lockdown, we haven’t forgotten about ANZAC Day 2020.

Presentation Day 2019

And like that it’s done!!

Sunday is about celebrating what you as coaches, parents and committee have put into making 2019 what it has been. Most of all it’s patting our kids on the back and congratulating them on what they’ve achieved this season. Whether that be new friendships, new skills learnt or challenges conquered.

The BBQ will commence at 9.30am
Jumping castles will be out on the oval
Canteen will be open and the BBQ will be cooking ($2 sausage; $3 hamburgers)
Milestone medals will be handed out

We encourage EVERYONE from the club to come down and be a part of the day.
See below the time splits per age group:
