Hi Sharks Families,
It’s great to see so many Sharks teams have commenced training.
The U10’s & U11’s commence this weekend and I look forward to catching up with them.
U8’s
The under 8’s kick off at the special time of 5pm till 6pm next Thursday 10th at Domeney Reserve with a brief training run followed by an information session. We would love to see as many of you there as possible, that includes Mums & Dads so we can run through everything you need to know for the season and answer all of your questions. Attached is the Under 8 Friendship Group Form. If you can complete the form and bring it along on the night it will help the club to allocate the kids into teams with their friends as best we can.
Park Orchards Car Rally – Fundraiser
The Park Orchards Community are running their annual event this Sunday the 6th. Please find attached the information poster and entry form if you are interested.
Our numbers are down on last year, so if you are attending please get your registration in now. It’s a great fun family day and an important fund raiser for the Park Orchards community.
Kinglake Practice Matches – Sunday 20 March
Wow- only 17 days until we kick off our first training matches.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know new teammates or renew past contacts or be part of the new season. Our ongoing support of the Kinglake club since the 2009 fires helps them to field their teams for the season. Be sure to buy a raffle ticket.
U8’s kick off at 8.30, all teams will be notified of the times of matches shortly.
Our second practice matches are on April 10th with Round one on the 17th.
Registration
Whilst many have registered, we still need those waiting to take action now. Please get online and register now. I’ve noticed a number of boys training but yet to register, please do so as soon as possible as we need to finalise teams with the league by early April.
